Relief printing is my true passion. There is something magical about watching one piece become another, instantly. Inspired by turn of the century children’s books, handed down to me from my mother’s childhood; I use a playful, whimsical approach to addressing the search to find light through the dark. My works tell stories of my personal experience and I invite others to approach it from their own. I believe that we are all on different versions of the same ride and the more we understand that, the more we will understand each other.
